Vintage brass Cameo peacock fire screen. A stunning large vintage fire place screen with a Central cameo cast in brass facing in each direction. The guard opens up like a peacocks feathers…hence it’s sometimes referred to as a peacock screen.  Each piece hooks into the one beside it and extends like a fan. The feathers are thin pieces with cut design to form the screen.  It folds up into a neat single feather for when you want a direct fire with a hook on either side to contain them. The screen does have the expected wear and age related marks.  It extends out but is a little stiff on the one panel. Used & vintage items will not be in the same condition as a new product. Any significant wear/marks will be highlighted in the "seller notes". Minor flaws/marks etc. may not be mentioned, - please study the photos as these are also part of the description.
